Overview
VISR Dynamics (hereby referred to as “VISR”) provides a metaverse platform (“STAGE”) for the collaborative usage of XR, allowing authenticated users to upload their own content and share it interactively with others in a Session in a virtual Space. This Privacy Policy has been written to help you understand out practices regarding data collection, privacy and personal information when using STAGE.
It is VISR’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information collected, asking only for personal information when it is truly necessary to provide a service to you. It is collected by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent, informing you why it is being collected, how it will be used, and only retaining it for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service.
What data is stored is protected within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. This information is retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. You are free to refuse any request for your personal information, with the understanding that VISR may be unable to provide you with some of your desired services.
What Information is Collected and Why/How it is used
Account information:
Authentication in STAGE is done through third party means, meaning that VISR does not handle your password, and only stores basic account profile information taken from your method of authentication, such as your Name, Email, and the Organisation you belong to. This information is stored securely in a GDPR compliant manner and is required for your proper usage of the platform; authenticating and identifying you and your actions to other users, and safeguarding communication and content sharing against unknown third parties.
App Session Telemetry:
Whilst taking part in a STAGE session some information about the session will be anonymously collected for the analysis, improvement, and stability of the platform. This information may include the type of device used (VR/AR/Computer/Mobile), how the device is performing, version number of the app, location based on IP, usage frequency, duration of the session and internal app logs.
Content Auditing and Sharing:
User information is stored whenever content is uploaded edited for auditing reasons. Uploaded content is stored only for intended use and may be completely deleted at any time by any user of the same Organisation with the correct authority to do so. VISR takes no liability if a user chooses to upload personally identifiably information, with any content uploaded being considered shared with other uses with the correct authentication.
What Information is Shared
VISR does not share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, except when required to by law. Any information shared through the usage of STAGE falls into the following categories:
- Information shared between users:
Whilst using STAGE, certain information will be accessible to other users, such as profile information (which may include personally identifiable information), content (3D models, images, audio, etc.) that you have chosen to upload, as well as any voice or video which may be transmitted for purposes of communication. Please be aware that VISR is not liable for what content you choose to share, nor do they have any control over how other users with the correct permission to access it choose to use it. - Business Partners:
Non-identifiable session information regarding session usage may be used for marketing and business purposes. - Service Providers:
Information may be shared with a third party if this information is required for them to provide a service which the user has requested, such as avatar creation.
Your Rights
In accordance with applicable laws, you have the right to:
- Access personal information regarding you.
- Request Correction or Deletion of any personal information regarding you.
- Object to, or request restrictions on the processing of your information.
- Not be discriminated against by exercising your privacy rights.
